we had a lovely experience at the breakfree. the views from our penthouse were amazing, and we were thrilled to spot dolphins and stingrays right from our deck. the kids adored the two swimming pools, and the proximity to fantastic restaurants made our stay even more enjoyable. with the beach just outside, we felt relaxed and well entertained throughout our visit.

No wifi, tight parking, and lots of stairs. 😅.

The room they gave us was brand-new and good sized with access from lounge, lovely big balcony, as example. A microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a dishwasher were available too. Good and stunning location for visiting restaurants and eateries near the hotel...

This was the second time we have stayed here. The gardens are lovely and the pools are great. The location is fantastic! Very family friendly. Close to eating places, and shops.

This was the second time we have stayed here.(last time was 9 years ago) It has gone down hill a quite considerably as far as cleanliness and overall maintenance of the rooms goes. It is the most unclean apartment I have ever stayed in. Every thing could do with a thorough going through such as the clock didn't work. The kitchen was stocked with odd pieces. the stove and dishwasher are very dated and dirty. The glasses hanging in the rack where dirty. The carpet was badly stained. The picture over the bed was thick with dust.The couch was so dirty we placed a blanket over it. If you moved a piece of furniture it was very dirty under neath it.There were no block out curtains in the bedrooms, very important when on holiday!

The rooftop balcony area offered a nice view, although it could use some shade for comfortable use in summer. The room was spacious and clean, which I appreciated, despite the heat from the open windows in both the back and front bedrooms. The provided database allowed for excellent communication with staff, ensuring my needs were met promptly.

The decor felt quite dull and unwelcoming, lacking vibrancy. the absence of a TV or air conditioning in the bedroom was a minor inconvenience, especially during hot nights.

The accommodation comfortably catered for seven people, making it ideal for a family getaway. I also appreciated the convenient carport at the bottom corner marina side, although it was a tight fit for larger vehicles like my 4WD, which added a bit of challenge.

One minor drawback was the carport's low height, which did not accommodate my 4WD.

it had stunning location near matthew flinders lookout. it also had free parking and was near restaurants and eateries.

The room was very hot.

The room had a spacious balcony and wake-up service, and the staff were always friendly and pleasant, making the stay enjoyable.

Booked a room right on the water. It had a lounge and a kitchenette area if needed.

The staff were really nice and friendly, the room was spacious and had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the beautiful view of the bay from our window.

The location is the only thing going for this property, We did not enjoy our stay and will not stay there again

Where should I start, I don't know of too many places where the reception does office hours only, upon our arrival at 5:45 approx there was a line up of about 5 different couples/families to check in via a phone outside where you had to get your room key out of a box, then proceeded to our room where we went up 2 flights of stairs with luggage and 7 year old twins, more dissapontment to come when we finally arrived at our room and to open the door to a musky smell that was like opening my nanna's locked up old chest of collectables, everything just felt grotty, the floor was greesy to walk on the tiled splash back above the stove was filthy the mouldy grout and dirty shower screen we definately undesirable and a health concern ( Luckily I'm not an asthmatic) the beds ok bedding ?????? did not feel comfy sitting on the lounge without a towel over it and got smashed with sandflies or mites ???just made my skin crawl. Needs a huge overhaul does nothing for the Break Free reputation, Has a bad name through out Hervey Bay, everyone you spoke to had the same opinion. Such a shame because of its beauiful position, It should be alot better. Aaa rating well over starred.

The food here was all local with plenty of great options to choose from! 🍴

being requested for a deposit upon arrival, after having paid for the unit 3 months in advance. Found very little information at resort and in unit in regards to sight seeing locations, shoping centres and restaurants around hervey bay

Overall, I had a lovely time. the room was reasonably large and airy with a splendid view of the bay. - the location was excellent, close to Whale Bay Marina. - A great selection of restaurants and cafés nearby. - There was a main bar available.

The rooms were airy and mine was great-sized with amazing view, lovely big balcony plus great views. The location was excellent and lovely, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Urangan Pier. The staff helped us with anything we needed.

Great view, quiet rooms, comfortable.

Upon check in, I asked for 2 sets of keys as we had 3 adults and 1 child in 2 bedroom unit. No 2nd set of keys were available, and as you need a key to open gate, a key to open security door and a key to open unit, this was VERY inconvenient. I had to constantly check if any keys were available, and finally the 2nd day (we were only staying 2 nights) the keys were available. Also, apartment kitchen was not as clean as I feel it should have been. An empty juice container was also left on kitchen bench. Two lamps were not working, you couldn't lock balcony door in main bedroom and the security door on balcony door to living room was not fitted correctly and was very hard to open and close for both my elderly mother in law and small child. The receptionist - Clare was neither friendly or helpful with the key matter - she was quite surly and didn't appear to care or offer alternatives or an apology. No apology was forthcoming from either herself or the Manager - whom she said she would contact.
